Well, I can only suggest that the British tabloid, the Daily Mail, seems to be on a roll with regard to the coverage of Doctor Who at the moment. Following the earlier article (well done PF !) they have splurged on photo coverage of early scenes between Peter Capaldi and Jenna-Louise Coleman in the center of Cardiff (possibly, the Queen Street area).
What I am struck by is the rather awkward hug that Peter is giving Jenna-Louise. It certainly does seem that he is rather shy (!) and I do feel that their 'relationship' will be - quite literally - at arms length. After all, he is 55 going on 900, and this is the oldest 'apparent' age the Doctor has been since William Hartnell.
Whilst I approve of the new Doctor's costume change (you have to love the red lining to the jacket), it will take a while to settle down, and there is more than a touch of John Pertwee about this get up. If Peter Capaldi handles the role as well as Pertwee, we shall all be delighted, I imagine.

So, if the Doctor's assistant is to have a semi-romantic entanglement with anyone, it may be time that the Doctor ships a extra male assistant onboard the TARDIS. It has been done before, just not recently.
